Strategic Sovereignty in the Age of Cognitive Competition: The European Case and Global Implications

This presentation introduces a new theoretical framework explaining how cognitive competition is transforming international power. It argues that strategic sovereignty increasingly depends on cognitive sovereignty, information integrity and independent decision-making. The presentation analyses Europe’s structural vulnerabilities, cognitive dependence, digital infrastructure, democratic resilience and proposes a roadmap toward a strategically sovereign Europe through institutional innovation and a modular federation.
